regarding the Memphis Grizzlies and the Orlando Magic. just to take this moment and talk a bit about this game. Dallas beat the Grizzlies in overtime and then immediately, the day after, had to play the Orlando Magic. Dallas lost against Orlando. it wasn't really even close. was Dallas tired? I did make this excuse for the Mavericks.
today though, which is a Sunday afternoon, there is another game, and this game is the Memphis Grizzlies against the Orlando Magic. so it is a perfect storm so to speak - Grizzlies busted their ass against Dallas and lost and now they have to play the Magic, a team that beat their nemesis(!)(heh).
anyway, Dwight Howard is the Big Shot on the court and Zack Randolph and Rudy Gay are the killer pointmakers for the Grizzlies. the Grizzlies are a bad-ass team and they can beat other teams. they want to beat you and they will beat you with their skills. although - are they a champioship-sized team? maybe not. I would love them to be one. I really realllllly hope they become one. how great would it be to say the Memphis Grizzlies are the NBA 2010 Champions? hell yeah. regardless, it would better to say that about the Mavericks.
anyway - you could also ask, are the Orlando Magic a championship winning team? maybe not. but shit - I hope they win too! "the Champion Orlando Magic!" my point is, it can be anybody as long as it is not the Lakers or Celtics. and as long as it is the Dallas Mavericks. but this Orlando Team is fearsome and they put Dallas away something good. the Mavs got squashed. but I say they were tired from the Grizzlies OT game. I think that is the truth.
Dwight Howard is in this game, and he is in a lot of commercials. he seems like a good guy and he is for sure a world-class player. here are the other Orlando Magic players, and this really is the reason I started writing this blog in the frist place.

These dudes are all bad-ass. they are super-badass, if you are going by an NBA scale of badassness. they are all sick NBA professional players and they may win a championship title.
aside from Dwight, who we know, the Orlando Magic employs two of the most street-ballin'est dudes in the whole of the NBA: Jayson Williams and Matt Barnes. they will burn you on the court and they will talk shit. combine those dudes with Dwight and Jameer Nelson who is a crazy 3 shooter, Vince Carter who wins slamdunk titles and Brandon Bass...oh Brandon Bass. formerly a Dallas Maverick for two seasons, Bass is a killer defensive player - he's a big-man inside player and is fast and can block. and these days he is making serious baskets too. which...he used to do for the Dallas Mavericks. sad to see him go.
Orlando is good and have the experience. the Memphis Grizzlies are proud and younger and are on a hot streak. Orlando has a spot locked up, but I would love to see the Grizzlies in the Playoffs as well.

i was so excited because the day i finally go look at my blog and think about writing something, i see that you have written something in yours. writing kismet. but then i see, that of course i should have known it would be about the basketball. i really want to like reading about basketball.
